The NGOs shortlisted in the
EDUCATION category of the HCLTech
Grant employ exciting new methodologies
to increase access to quality education for
rural children or those in care institutions.
Some of the innovative projects for
this year include an engaging Maths
programme for government schools and
another using the arts to create wellbeing;
one that empowers educators for
inclusive learning, and one that recharges
anganwadis; a project that makes local
schools in remote places desirable for
parents, and another that educates
consumers on their rights and artistes
on how to leverage their crafts for socio-
economic empowerment. Their efforts
lead to holistic, long-lasting impact for
vulnerable communities and the children
of India.
