The HCLTech Grant Project in Action
IIH is committed to strengthening the existing
healthcare system and engaging with Government
health facilities, addressing gaps and providing
assistance where needed with the help of the
HCLTech Grant. For instance, to fix a shortage
of microscopes in 15 testing centres across
different blocks, IIH has supplied 9 microscopes
to Samastipur district. Government facilities oſten
experience shortages of child dose medicine and
in general TB drug shortages – so we provided the
medicines. We offer transport for patients to reach
a healthcare facility for quality diagnosis and
treatment. In the 3 quarters of implementation,
we have been able to find/diagnose 2058 persons
with TB and begun treatment of 1990 of them.
