The

HCL Foundation started its journey with the ambitious vision

of creating pilot solutions,which we call ‘source codes’.These

solutions,if applied at a large scale,have the potential to create

a huge socio-economic and environmental impact.HCL Grant is

one of our flagship programs that aims to support and recognize

such ‘source codes’of credible non-profit organizations,or NGOs,

working in the area of rural development.

Today, the NGOs supported by the HCL Grant are helping

deliver transformational and sustainable impact for communities

wherever their innovative projects are implemented.They have

collectively improved 840,000 lives in 9,464 villages spread across

the length and breadth of the country.The HCL Foundation has

now completed a decade of existence, and this period required

us to make major investments in creating pilots or source codes

like the HCL Grant.The next decade will see us scale these, and

transform many more lives across many new geographies to help

ensure a brighter future for all in our country.
