HCL Foundation joins hands with Lucknow Development Authority
HCL Foundation and Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) signed an MOU under HCL Harit, its flagship programme for environment action, to afforest a land parcel in Lucknow. The MOU was signed between Shri. Awanindra Kumar Singh, Executive Engineer, Zone 1, LDA, and Ms. Nidhi Pundhir, Director, HCL Foundation in the esteemed presence of Mr. Ranjan Kumar, IAS, Commissioner, Lucknow Division, Mr. Akshay Tripathi, IAS, Vice Chairman, LDA, and Mr. Pawan Kumar Gangwar, Secretary, LDA.
This initiative will play a critical role in plantation of native species and habitat improvement for birds, bees, and other animals in Green Area (Green Connector) land in Lucknow, which spreads across 25.45 acres.
